Nuclear Track-Etched Polycarbonate Membrane (2)
Media Details
Created 03/28/2006
Cross section of a 400-nm-diameter nuclear track-etched polycarbonate membrane, imaged using the ESEM. Gold was deposited inside the pores by electroless plating. The gold membrane is used as an externally controllable nanocapillary array interconnect in a hybrid nanofluidic/microfluidic device with antibody-based molecular recognition to provide capture and release of a selected analyte.
