MicroCT scan of a small sea shell, used as a test scan on the new Xradia MicroCT unit in the ITG Microscopy Suite. The shell was imaged with the 4X objective, using 80KeV X-ray at 10W power. The scan is composed of 361 individual images, each of 10 seconds exposure time. The data set was then visualized and measured using Amira software in the VMIL. Visualization shows 3D view of shell with x-y-z axis and one additional view from above the shell.
