Graphene 'Flowers' On Copper Foil
Media Details
Created 03/29/2011
Scanning electron micrograph of graphene grown on 5 mil copper foil at 1000 C with methane. The graphene flowers grow as a result of the high temperature processing and the interaction of methane with the underlying copper foil. Each different copper crystal facet plays a role in how many lobes each graphene flower has.
