Biological Intelligence and Navigating a Complex Environment
Media Details
Created 10/01/2002
This image is from a flash animation that helps illustrate how a biological organism uses passive and active sensing to navigate through a noisy environment and still acquire a target resource. The organism uses its body orientation and other sensory systems to determine the location of the desired resource. The animation is part of a longer video (in progress) that illustrates how sensing and biological intelligence function.
